you cant win, rock!

if you are a pavement completist, this here is supposedly their first live recording. its not so much a live “i was there” type of a recording, but a live radio broadcast that just so happened to be taped – something i used to love doing. KDVS out of stockton, ca was the originating source, by the way. honestly, its sometimes unlistenable, but its still pretty cool to have, i guess.

  1. a very early Pavement show. Can I get a “lo fi”? … and also a Twilight Singers show from last year, with Mark Lanegan on board, which is particularly tasty. Roll on the Gutter Twins album. Dirty old men, mind. On the way from yours truly next week:

Well, there’s the whole Janet Weiss-on-board

I saw them over here and 3/4 of the set
was brand new songs. whoo hoo.
