what im finally listening to: chris bathgate’s salt year

by gregor on October 18, 2011

michigonian chris bathgate’s salt year came out sometime in april, it is now almost november and im just getting around to listening to it. shame on me! me thinks sandy from slowcoustic has proclaimed this particular record his favorite of the year, but im not sure if that is still holding true, but he did at one point. trusting his tastes, i should have jumped on this months ago, but you know i was busy listening to shit from 1994 or dora the explorer. in regards to this record, yeah its pretty spectacular. when i say spectacular, i am not too far behind mr slowcoustic on his feelings regarding this record. repeated listens my result in a top 5 change around, cause this is that freaking good. if you dig the likes of great lake swimmers, maybe even hayden and folks of the like you’ll love this. he’s on tour so make sure you check out his site for dates.

buy salt year via amazon or via his bandcamp page

no silver
