captains dead

i am officially on vacation. we made it to tampa in record time even with a stop at steak and shake. i dont think i have ever eaten there, but oddly enough it was pretty good. posts may be sporadic for the next seven days for hopefully i will be either busy fishing or too drunk to post anything with any degree of readability. thats not to say my shits very readable to begin with.

in terms of influencing/shaping my later day musical tastes, archers of loaf have to rank pretty high, at least in my top 7. both ickey mettle and vee vee still play a huge part in my listening habits, and both are used as some kind of strange measuring device on which all other records are judged. i love them both as if they were my own step child.
