the smiths’ troy tate sessions
maybe its just been my mood lately, which has been admittedly pretty shitty, but i have found myself listening to the smiths more frequently than usual. usually i will break out the queen is dead or meat is murder a few times a year, but i think i have listened to their entire catalogue a few times within the past week or two. still not my most favoritest stuff but they do the trick and fill some void i didnt know needed filling.
most smith fans have probably heard this, but in case you havent here it is. this is the troy tate sessions bootleg. long and short, they recorded their first record with producer troy tate, they didnt like the way it turned out so they re-recorded the record with john porter at the helm. there’s a second disc that will get posted sometime this weekend.

thank you sir. your misery equates to my enthusiasm for adding to my own Smiths collection. I love the band’s four albums but have not heard enough bootlegs. thanks.
