far be it from me to shy away from beating something into the ground. sadly and admittedly, that is just my personality, im pretty all or nothing kind of person. so, with that being said, here is another replacements post, but this is a collection of outtakes/b-sides/etc. you can grab the info for each track by clicking that “missing in action” link. there are 25 tracks, but only info on 24 songs? edit: thinking of the wrong collection. if you are down for more, please check out james from pop headwound’s round up of mats live recordings, etc.

Some of those ‘Pleased To Meet Me’ songs might be rough mixes of the same takes that are on the album, with alternate vocals and stuff. Wherever it came from, this version of “I.O.U.” is spectacular.

BTW, a true rarity worth tracking down is Perfect’s “Peg Song,” a really furious punk rock power ballad-y thing that came on promo pressings of “Asshole” but never made it to the final album years later.
