I worked with the band and remember this show very clearly, I can still picture the room and the stage, it was a lunchtime show if I’m not mistaken. Not even sure if I have a tape of this show. Just listened to “I’m In Trouble” – a smokin’ version! Very cool, thanks for posting! Peter J

very cool, peter. granted i never saw the mats during this time, but just judging by this show alone, it sounds like it was a pretty awesome experience.

  5. Em0r says:

I was at this show. It was a “Good Friday” afternoon concert at the Duke Ellington Ballroom. Thanks for the post

Thanks for the repost! Looking through the archives I noticed that your original post of this show was posted in three parts, but only the first two are reposted here. Any change we can get the rest as well (10 tracks remaining , IIRC)? Thanks again! See part three posting: http://captainsdead.com/you-using-the-whole-fist-doc.html

DID PETER JESPEN JUST POST IN THE COMMENT SECTION? I don’t care if it was in 2010, everyone who knows the Placemats should know Peter Jespen. Pete, you rule!

And thank you for this bootleg! It rules too!

  9. Nick says:

Er Jesperson, not Jespen…. I was watching the Angels play baseball. They have a pitcher named Jespen in their bullpen. It was blaring in the background with the announcers dropping his name, and it really confused me there for a second while I typed that reply. Boy do I feel like an idiot now. LOL

Thanks again for this awesome post.
