the only sons' "devils circus" and bad religion live from sweden, 8.10.94

in other this is american music news, they just released, on tuesday, another one of my favorite records of the year, the only sons’ when the new wears off. once a four piece, they are now a 3 piece, and its for the better, definitely. when the new wears off is like they hopscotched right over the sometimes awkward change in musical direction and just went balls deep, through caution to the wind and said hey lets make the a lost 70′s era ronnie wood record, and they did it triumphantly. damn fine record, and damn fine gents to boot.

you can buy it via this is american music for 5 bucks or listen to em on spotify.

This Only Sons song sounds so much like Ted Leo (both recent and his old band Chisel) that it is hard to imaging they didn’t listen to those records a thousand times. Kind of weird.
