hey gregor – thanks for the Lemonheads show. I don’t know if I have ever heard a tape. I was at the show…good stuff. I have heard Varshons a couple of times. It’s definitely the most eclectic thing he’s done in awhile. I dig it.
thanks for the post. varshons is more downbeat/acoustic than the last two lemonheads albums. highlights include gram parsons’ “i just can’t take it anymore” and linda perry’s “beautiful”. i’m baffled by the inclusion of the song “dirty robot” featuring kate moss. it is terrible and out of place on this album.
can’t access tracks 4, 15 & 17
this is a terrific recording. the best lemonheads boot I’ve heard. Many thanks. Yes, three of the tracks aren’t accessible. I also tried to listen to the Calexico show (http://captainsdead.com/there-are-code-breakers-with-lines-well-tapped.html) and 3 tracks won’t load there (5, 9, 18) as well.
I saw Calexico in your old stomping grounds Monday, at the Cobb Center with Andrew Bird. Both were great. Both were lots of fun.
sorry bout that, they should be fixed now…. out the door to go fishing, but wanted to attempt rectify the issue before i left….
Yeah, they are working! Thanks. Happy fishing. I meant to say in the earlier comment:
Enjoy your vacation!
Thanks for your great blog!
rechecked the calexico tunes and they’re back! so, again, thanks for all the posting and all of the tweaking.
Thanks for posting these. Just caught the Philly show 2 nights ago. Set list included about 10 of these tracks.
