UPDATE: well, people we’ve had a good run. 4 years into this and other than that douche asking me to take down his lousy, albeit cool westerberg show and kristian aka tallest man on earth asking very kindly that i take down a track, i had never been asked by an artist, or their “people” for that matter to take down a show i have posted. that all ends today, actually last night, but just got around to doing it today. as you may have guessed the felice bros and they’re people/person have asked me to take down this show. initially i was super pissed, because of all the shit i have posted, not to mention felice brothers related stuff, over the past 4 years and i get busted for posting a show by the felice brothers?! really? the felice brothers? never would have seen this one coming. its their bat their ball their music, and im not gonna fight it. really? the felice brothers? damn….

sadly i forgot all my stuff at home today, so part 11-30 will have to wait til tomorrow. i know its gonna be hard on you all to wait but please try and do what you can do contain your sadness. in its place i have a lovely soundboard recording of the felice brothers at the luminaire in swingin london, england on 11.30.07. thanks to taper, youandmeboth for the recording!

    i think that when bands are smaller they support live shows being posted to build up their fan bases but once they reach a certain point of popularity (when actual labels, lawyers, money, etc become part of the equation), they have to be more guarded with their music. Or maybe they just hated the sound or performance of that show and didn’t want people thinking that is what to expect from the band. Either way, I wouldn’t take it personally and would focus on the 500+ bands who support what you are doing instead of the one band that does not. It should be pretty easy to never mention the felice brothers or their future projects again.

    I think it was their manager that wanted it down. They’ve since changed management. The old manager I think was an older, old school approach who they traded In for a younger guy. I doubt the band was even aware of this, or even cared
