when its all said and done, the everybodyfield’s nothing is okay may go down one day as my favorite record. if you havent heard it, i recommend seeking it out immediately. it was my favorite record back in 2007, and i actually love it more today then i did 2 years ago. its sonically and lyrically gorgeous, but the interplay tween quinn and andrews is heartbreaking and makes for a listen that floods the listener with a range of emotions. truly a brilliant record. buy it via amazon

Thanks for this post. You originally turned me on to the group back in ’07 and I firmly agree with your assessment on Nothing is Okay.
Great Music & Recording..
Thank you..
No doubt about it,I have to see these two live..
cool, micah glad you dig em…. and michael youre probably too late cause they are on an indefinite hiatus…
That Lionel Ritchie cover is GREAT! Thanks for digging this one up, Cap’n!
Thanks for posting. I heard this show when I rented a car that was equipped with XM, and went out to buy the CD the next day
Not to be a stickler but in your post you mention “tween Quinn and Edwards”. I think you mean Andrews (as in Jill Andrews) and not Edwards. This is a great post though. It’s pretty tough to find much of them live. Jill Andrews has been doing some touring on her own around North Carolina and Sam Quinn is touring with a band called The Japan Ten. Vimeo has a couple of videos of them jamming and they’re both nothing short of mindblowing.
Many thanks Captain. I feel the same way, my favorite album of 200, and their Daytrotter session might have even more plays than that.
The new Jill Andrews solo album is wonderful. Thanks for sharing this live work!
linus, im a dumb ass. when i was doing this yesterday i was talking to someone on the phone named “edwards” and just put it in there. of course i didnt bother to proof read…. glad everyone is diggin this/them.
