i gotta be honest, i never much cared for the cars, and outside of a few songs, i still dont. but i figured some of you folks may so here they are on 9.14.78 at el mocambo in toronto. ric ocasek still cracks me up and cant believe he produced a gbv record and somehow managed to snap up paulina porizkova. boggles the mind…

    haha I like the cars to the extent that I can always find their albums in dollar vinyl bins, which is cool because their music is good.

    Love the cars. no point in posting live shows…they were notorious more so then the Eagles for note for note right off the album versions.no improvisation at all. other then that Awsome band.

    I met Ric and Paulina in maybe 1991(?), when I waited on them at a restaurant, and he was amazingly more handsome in person than I expected…. still freakishly tall, but then so was she. I guess they had something in common. But honestly, they were both super nice, and I didn’t have to spit in their food, which was good. ;)
