teenage fanclub peel session, 1991

Posted by doubter on Saturday, June 11th, 2011

good saturday evening to you all. most of my day has been spent either a. sleeping or b. playing just cause 2, which is a pretty cool game but the controls are a little wonky. just got done playing crysis 2, which was pretty damn awesome, imo. yes, i play video games. little known fact about yours truly.

teenage fanclub is one band that i have never gotten the pleasure of seeing live, and is def in my top 5 bands that i need to see live, someday, hopefully. although, as i am typing this i feel like i may have back in the early 90s at the metro in chicago. i dont think i have, but again something is telling me i have. anyone else go through this kinda shit? its hell getting old… you can buy this via amazon for either a penny, used, or 80 bucks new. if you do buy it, it is packaged with a frank black peel session. so it may be worth it, at least for the penny. *edit: that peel session i linked to via amazon is actually frank black w/ teenage fanclub, which could be pretty awesome.

The Fanclub/Frank Black session was wonderfully racous garage rawk, surprisingly ragged from the fannies! God! Remember that being broadcast and taping it off the radio…
