morning peoples! as you can tell, or maybe you couldnt, i took a bit of a hiatus over the past couple weeks. the reason? really i had no reason, just felt like stepping away for a bit. sometimes the internets just gets to be too much and i get fed up with it. im sure im not the only one who occasionally feels as such. plus, i really havent been too inspired as of late. not that my lack of inspiration has changed much, but i feel like a couple weeks is a long enough break.
i thought i had posted this a few years back, but cant seem to find it around. maybe i had plans on posting it, then never got around to it? anyway, here are the beach boys and the dead live at the fillmore east on 4.27.71. kind of a strange pairing, if you ask me.

we really didnt need another dead photo so in their place is ms johansson.
posting may be sporadic over the next few days. as it turns out my modem is broken at the crib and the earliest comcast can come out to replace it is tuesday. awesome! i wish i had the cash to go buy one but tis not case at this point. seriously, how difficult would it be just to drop off a replacement? it would take like 3 minutes. fuckin comcastic, my ass!

so, the pain has not subsided. the odd thing is is that when i do the yoga poses, thanks tualla, i really feel no pain in my shoulder blade. its when i am sitting, as i am now, that i feel the pinch. its quite obnoxious to say the least.
austin’s black before red creates the type of mood that is sadly missing in my day to day life. that kind of vibe/mood can only be felt by fully engulfing thyself into the eagles’ classic “peaceful easy feeling” or by giving black before red’s awkwardly titled belgrave to kings circle a whirl. they are really nothing like the eagles at all except they give off that cool early 70′s california vibe mixed with the “jacking the ball” era the sea and cake.

my friends over at 75 or less records have released brooklyn’s dynamic duo kaiser cartel’s live from the breakthrough radio ep. if you like your sweet minimalist folkie pop served with a side of sour grapes you should definitely check out kaiser cartel.
