morning! so whats the deal with the pavement tour? are they still adding dates, or is it what you see is what you get? anyone know or familiar with the situation? heard some shit went down at pfork fest tween the two camps, or namely spiral stairs and the pfork elite. everyone says its nothing, but i like to believe something went down. i got an email the other day for a re-upping of this show. so here it is… its a great soundboard, btw.

pavement has taken the top spot on elbo.ws in 3,2,1…. as you all probably knew, pavement is cashing in. not only with a probable world tour, but with this 23 track retrospect entitled quarantine the past which spans that glorious decade, 1989-1999. oh, the entire to-do is fully remastered, including the track below, and if you purchase the cd/vinyl you shall receive a complimentary download coupon. quarantine the past is due out on 3.9 and hit up the matador site for all the details and tour dates.

good monday morning to everyone! hope you all had a loverly weekend. mine was interesting to say the least. the most interesting part of it happened on saturday evening when there was flooding in and around my hood and we had to ditch my car on “high ground” and walk for about a mile through mid-calf to waist deep water to get back to my house. that was both exciting and terrifying…. went back on sunday morning to get my car and there were probably a hundred cars abandoned up and down claiborne tween jefferson and broadway – bout 6 blocks. looking back, im sure we were just wading through sewage, which is not so awesome…

for some reason i still havent listened to spiral stairs’ upcoming matador release, the real feel. i’ve had it for a couple weeks now, but ever since the pavement re-union announcement i havent felt the need to check it out. you can stream it down there and pre-order it here. that stream is gonna automatically start, btw. i tried to look at the code to see if i could disable it, but fell short of attaining that goal. so, just hit pause if it annoys ya. that autostart was pretty annoying. so if you wanna listen click here.
