when its all said and done, the everybodyfield’s nothing is okay may go down one day as my favorite record. if you havent heard it, i recommend seeking it out immediately. it was my favorite record back in 2007, and i actually love it more today then i did 2 years ago. its sonically and lyrically gorgeous, but the interplay tween quinn and andrews is heartbreaking and makes for a listen that floods the listener with a range of emotions. truly a brilliant record. buy it via amazon

oh, early mornings. im currently checking out jill andrews new ep, which is most excellent and can be ordered by clicking that pic of her on the left hand side or just clicking here. ill talk more about it later, but if youre an everybodyfields/jill andrews fan then you know what youre getting into.

i never got to see slowdive, sadly, but i did get to see mojave 3, which was probably the most boringly beautiful show i have ever witnessed. this slowdive show from oslo in december of 93 sounds like the complete opposite of that mojave 3 gig.

the female voice that helped create my 4th favorite record of the 2000’s, jill andrews, is itching to get out on the road. of course getting out on said “road” requires a vehicle, which apparently she doesnt have. what she does have is music and merchandise, and that music and merch is for sale. she has a van lined up, but not the funding. so she’s set up a store in which you can buy some stuff in prices ranging from $60 which will get you a cool collection of live and rare rare tracks, an everybodyfields cd and a personal thank you from jill, to $40 for an everybodyfields box set with a t-shirt, to whatever you feel like donating. full disclosure, i havent donated shit as of yet, but if the funding comes in, i plan on it….
