endian’s “life goes on”

gregor | July 6th, 2010 - 4:21 pm

in august of 2005 new orleans born alfredo nogueria aka endian’s debut stella australis made it into the hands of some folks in new orleans, shortly thereafter, everyone scattered. talk about shit luck… what happened in to the record tween now and then, i havent the slightest, but thankfully it is now seeing the light of day thanks to the fine folks at park the van. been listening to it for bout a couple weeks now, and its gets better with each listen. its a fairly moody and emotional record, at least i think so, but not in an “emo” way but more like explosions in the sky w/ vocals. although his music isnt anything like eits, but you get the picture, i hope.

the record was released last week, and i highly recommend checking it out. more than worth yo time.

life goes on

Our new favorite (gimmegimmegimme/moremoremore) website, I Supply the Country With Butter, has posted another stellar entree of live cracklin from The Stranglers.

Live at the Hammersmith Odeon 1981

They post, so we don’t have to.

Hot buttered woah

A pal sent me a link to I Supply the Country With Butter a few weeks ago and after spooging over (and crippling my bandwidth) the DC5 box set, I forgot to revisit the site. Chris — a former Chicagoan now, bless him, living in Florida, shares rare and OOP discs including many compilations and soundtracks. Chickety check it.

Next up: the Creation comp.
