elvis perkins in dearland are releasing the doomsday ep on 10.20 and they’re embarking on a tour that hits new orleans @ the parish on 11.11. this is going to be one show that i am going to make every effort not to miss. for reals! they’re also taking part of levon helm’s midnight ramble on 10.31. the midnight ramble sessions is a series of live performances at levon’s studio in woodstock and has been going on since 2000.
