today is one of them days, that if i didnt have a bills, kids, the need to eat, drink, etc, i would have had zero problems with walking away from this job. that is again, i didnt have all those things. damn you things! but hey in other news, im going on a cruise at the end of the month. i may have mentioned that before? im not really all that psyched about it. the whole being out in the middle of a body of water surrounded by a few thousand of my closest strangers doesnt sound all that appealing. im sure its gonna be fun, but this was the year i was supposed to go to sxsw, which in all honesty would have probably been more fun. dont tell my wife i said that, she wouldnt be amused.

if memory serves me correctly, i was at this show, and it was pretty freakin awesome. up until a few years ago, i could remember just about every show i ever attended, but ever since ive had kids those memories have been overtaken by the themes of sponge bob and phineas and ferb.

  1. who cares says:

im 29 and kidless. but i kinda like phineas and ferb. at least the villain and the weird secret agent dog are funny.

phineas and ferb is pretty amusing, and the dog is actually perry the platypus. if you ever have time check out the misadventures of flapjack on cartoon network, its quite interesting in a kids cartoon kinda way.

Hey GREGOR, Been a big fan of your site few years now… I’m a Chicago Native (LAKE BLUFF) attended many shows at the ARAGON BALLROOM AND METRO…lOUNGE AX… Though I recall being at a Metro Anniv. show where Pearl Jam played first then the Jayhawks and then Soul Asylum played… They blew Pearl Jam off the stage…!!! This is when PEARL JAM just started their career… I never knew why anyone would like them or still does…??? Karl Muller: R.I.P. You also got a picture of their old drummer; Grant Young who I always thought was good… Anyways, S.A. were better before this Aragon show…peace- BDW
