roman candle’s “they say”
i have not heard chapel hill’s roman candle’s oh tall tree in the ear, but i dig what i have heard, thus far. plus they’re opening for jason isbell and they did a daytrotter session which is more than enough of a push for me to listen to em. is it me or does everything sean and the daytrotter crew record sound unbelievable? i dont necessarily dig every band they bring in, but sound wise they really got something special going on.
oh tall tree in the ear is out now on carnival recordings
they say off oh tall tree…

Hells yes! Glad to see you rocking some Roman Candle, they are absolutely fantastic! Great music with extremely well written tunes with pop hooks that grab you and reel you back in time and time again! I encourage all to pick up this album because it is by far one of the best albums of 2009! Oh yeah and check them out live…….even better!!
Thanks Greg… I’m a big Daytrotter fan but definitely don’t check all of them out. Haven’t heard Roman Candle at all. Checked it out and picked up their new one. Really good stuff.
yeah its hard to keep up with all the daytrotter stuff. checked out the roman candle record over the weekend and its quite good.
