richmond fontaine’s you can move back here
if for whatever reason, you have not checked out richmond fontaine, now’s your chance. the fine folks at trash aesthetics are putting out a new richmond fontaine 7″ entitled you can move back here on july 20. the release is limited to 500 pressings and features, from what i have been led to believe, “beautiful packaging with screen-printed and hand coloured artwork designed by otwo” and also includes a booklet with a short story by willy vlautin. the two tracks and presumably their upcoming album we used to the think the freeway sounded like a river, was produced by jd foster. look for the full length sometime in september.
in my world there are only a handful of other bands i can recommend higher. all their records are great, but i would definitely start with the fitzgerald, thirteen cities or post to wire.
