honestly, i’ve never gotten much into prince. sure “purple rain,” “1999,” and “when doves cry” are great songs, especially when they pumped into a casino and your drunk as hell and losing your ass at the world poker tour, but outside of that ive never fancied him much. i did own diamonds and pearls, and i think i liked it, but that was 17 year old greg and not sure how 35 year old me would feel about it. anyway, here is a particularly cool soundboard recording of a prince show from columbia, sc all the way back in 1981. even i, a non prince fan, could get into this.

jj, its been fixed. sorry bout that. i just came across a prince 12 inch archive of stuff. would anyone be interested in such a thing?
For some reason some of the tracks stop in the middle. Is anyone having this problem? Most noticeably, it happens on “I Wanna Be Your Lover”. This show is amazing, btw. I’m dying to have it play properly all the way though!
hmmm this is happening when you are trying to download em? i havent heard any complaints other than the first track, which i have since fixed. let me know and ill reupload it…

“I Wanna Be Your Lover” is still cutting out after about 2min after I download it to iTunes. Is anyone else having this problem? I’ve tried DLing it 3-4 times, and always the same problem is happening. Gregor, do you have any clue why this might be happening? Thanks!
very strange. what do you mean you downloaded it to itunes? you just mean you imported it to itunes? i reuploaded everything so maybe give it another shot..
I tried importing it to iTunes again and the same thing happened. What the hell? It’s really weird how this is happening with just this song. I think I’ve tried to make it work with iTunes 5 times now and on 2 different libraries. WTF?!
I’m having the same trouble as “G.” with the I Wanna Be… file. I’m also importing into iTunes, but there’s no problem with the other files (‘cept for Uptown, which was resolved when you re-posted). Anyway, thanks for posting these. They’re grrreat!
