bring on the saints! the saints are a damn good team, much better than the seahawks, but they are definitely beatable. all they have to do is stop reggie bush and/or mccalister and we should be ok. we definitely have plug up that middle, which shaun alexander owned today. if not those two are going to own our asses. when i say we, i am refering to the bears, not me personally.
one record i listened to about 10 times this weekend is the 80’s classic business as usual by australia’s favorite son’s men at work. i had not listened to said record in about 15 years. it actually was one of the first tapes i bought with my own money, which was all the way back in 1982 – fuck i feel old. it actually has stood up pretty well, all things considered. here are a couple o’ tracks in case your memory needs a jarring.
i was going to post a modest mouse show from ‘03 at the 40 watt, but it’s almost time for 24. so, thats going to have to wait until tomorrow.

You should check out Colin Hay’s solo work, like the album Man at Work. Who Can It Be Now and Down Under are both on there in really nice acoustic versions, plus some good stuff of his own. Strips the 80s trappings from it–it definitely does stand up.
