ox’s “burnout”

ive only listened to a handful of ox’s musical offerings, but thus far im pretty damn impressed. they remind me of a combination of neil’s harvest/on the beach, my morning jacket circa at dawn and pneumonia era whiskeytown. the music is lush and rustic, and lead singer mark browning kinda sounds like ryan adams doing his best adam duritz impression, which to my ears at least, is definitely not a bad thing. they have a new record coming out on 11.10 entitled burnout. worth checking out, for sure.

burnout
miss idaho off american lo fi
surrender off american lo fi (cheap trick cover)
transam off dust bowl revival

unkown legend off burnout
