hailing from kansas city, man bear, who i hope take their name from man bear pig, just released their 6 song ep entitled talking drunk at 2 a.m. best of all, its free via their bandcamp site. only have heard this one song, but i dig it quite a bit. reminds me of the replacements and maybe even some early husker du. so, if you dig either of those two, and if youre here, you probably do, i definitely recommend checking them out. shit for free, how can you go wrong honestly?

This sounds so much like Superchunk it makes me grin. I certainly hope this sound is making a comeback ’cause I sure am tired of fucking folk music.
