new stuff from the fear and trembling

stay far away from brooklyn’s the fear and trembling if your looking for an easy in/easy out type of listening experience cause you will not find it in their the fear and trembling’s octopus. but if you are up to the challenge, come on in cause the waters fine. i guarantee you that you wont find a better record with a mix of prog rock noodling, southern fried twang and space rock like swirling guitars, all year. me thinks a band’s gotta have a lot of balls to not only have the second track, “the octopus” on their debut record top out at just over 10 minutes long, but to actually pull it off with the greatest of ease is a both a testament to musicianship and all around awesomeness. check em out, highly recommended!
