continuing with their less is more approach to correspondence, valley stream, ny’s sloth bear apparently have “sold out” which is all the email from craig said. oh, he also said he loved me, which is cool i suppose. i can only assume the selling out comes from the fact that they seem to have cleaned up their sound a bit. the first batch of stuff ive heard from these guys were pure fuzzed out pop bliss. well, they’ve kinda dropped the fuzz but the pop remains, which is fine, cause the vocals are more pronounced/distinguishable and he sounds a bit like destroyer/new porno’s, daniel bejar. the two tracks below are from their upcoming record, qids, which is due out some this winter but in 2010.
