new stuff from happy birthday

Posted by gregor on Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

howdy gang! firstly, i am going on vacation next week, which may mean there will be no posts, or i may have i have a lot of time on my hands a post more than usual. hopefully the latter situation comes to fruition. just throwing that out there. although, as much as i want to have a lot of free time, i do hope to get copious amounts of fishing in. either way, i guess its a win/win.

secondly, happened upon the debut record by happy birthday the other day and i havent stopped listening to it since. well, i have stopped listening to it, but you get my point. happy birthday is fronted by mr king tuff, kyle thomas, but also includes ruth garbus and chris weisman. personally speaking, i like this much more than king tuff, but thats just me. its fuzzed out pop bliss, which most of his stuff is, but for some reason this is resonating much more than his king tuff stuff. definitely check em out.

  1. I like it! It’s much more upbeat, but I guess it has to be with the name and all.

if you know anything about me, you then know my love for hallelujah the hills knows no bounds. both have ever done something evil and no one knows what happens next were my favorite records from 2014 and 2012, respectively. without a doubt they are one of the greatest bands currently making music. “devil level […]
