i am not a gambling man

hey right here! the sun here in new orleans, to co-op a boston term, is wicked hot. yet, i sit here in the africa-like heat. i just got around to listening to a hawk and a hacksaw’s latest release, delivrance. it was released either this past week, or the week before, via the leaf. for those that dont know, a hawk and a hacksaw is comprised of ex-neutral milk hotel drummer, jeremy barnes, and violinist, heather trost. either you will totally dig their balkan/eastern european ways, or you wont. i dont think there’s any in between. i definitely fall into the former camp.

both videos were filmed by john longmire in a ahaah’s native land of new mexico.
