if i were have chosen a different life for myself, i would have chosen that of a vagabond. of course i dont know if i really chose my life, which is great mind you, more as it chose me. but if i had to do it all over again, i would love to travel around north america. well, actually just the warm parts. cold does nothing for me any more and in fact if i ever see snow again, or more than an inch of it, im movin further south. which kinda leads me to winnepegian native and full blown troubadour, matt epp and his excellent record, safe or free. matt lives on the open highway and has rested his weary bones from everywhere from his newfoundland to mexico. all of these varying locations definitely can be heard throughout the 12 songs that make up safe or free. definitely worth checkin out if you dig the likes of ryan adams, joe henry, joe pug, ron sexsmith, etc..
safe or free is out now and cab be purchased via his site

sounds good based on the samples on the web site. $15.99 for mp3?? I’d much prefer to buy direct from an artist but not at a $6 premium. You gotta wonder..
yeah 16 bucks for mp3s is a bit drastic… 9 bucks is really my limit. good record though.
