happy monday, douchebags! what about them grammys last night? yeah, i watched it. have no idea why, cause in the end it only pisses me off, but im a glutton for punishment. what was funny to me was the twitters was a flutter with the question of who is “bonny bear” or bon iver. that made me laugh.

mellencamp is an artist that i dont listen to enough, but when i do i pretty dig everything. if you’ve never really listened to him i would definitely recommend checking out american fool, uh-huh, scarecrow, human wheels and the lonesome jubilee. sadly, this isnt the entire show, but its a great collection of songs. this was the cd version, and there is an entire show out there, i just cant find a good link any more. this boot goes by the name of workingman’s rock n roll.

there are few musicians that i still listen to on a regular basis that have been with me since my teens. bill janovitz/buffalo tom are one of those artists. so logic would tell you that if im still listening to a band/artist 20 years later, they must be pretty fucking good. bill janovitz is indeed [...]

hailing from the city of brotherly love, philadelphia, pa the miners recently released their 6 song ep, miners rebellion. one thing i really dig about this ep and these guys is that they arent trying to be anything they arent. they’re great musicians, writing great songs, no gimmicky bullshit and sometimes thats absolutely everything you [...]
