jim byrnes looks like he knows something we dont, and he may or may not be a prick about sharing this “something” with the rest of us. i just get that feeling by looking at his pic, but listening to his music give off another vibe all together. here’s a man that i am positive has got more than a few stories to tell. i am currently downloading the record, legally mind you, and will report back with findings. but dig into this until then. “walk on boy” is the lead track from his 5.12 release, my walking stick. first impressions though is that he reminds me of tom waits crossed with bonnie raitt.
