if i have one running theme its the “oh shit, i didnt realize (insert whatever here.) this has been happening for the 7.5 years this site has been in existence. i have a hard time keeping track and putting two and two together. such is the case with north carolina musician jeremy squires. i have followed him on twitter for a while, and he was also a part of couch by couchwest, but i am just now listening to his stuff. he’s got a new record/ep out entitled central nervous station, which i am going to listen to as soon as i am done with this. this song, “ghostlike” is really fucking good. this song reminds me of a time the wife and i were walking down in the bayou on louisiana, it was early morning, fog was surrounding and couldnt see more than 5 feet in front of us. when songs can bring back memories, you know they’re keepers. very very recommended.
