hay, hay hay, rog! i wouldnt consider myself to be a fan of one lindsay lohan, but i am a fan of her rack and you can see said rack in all its bountiful glory @ egotastic. she’s attempting to somehow channel marilyn monroe in ny mag, but if you ask me she’s just really, really been wanting to show off that rack.
the past week or so i have rekindled my love affair w/ toots and the maytals’ “pressure drop.” my first exposure to it, like probably most peeps my age was izzy stradlin’s version on his stones/faces inspired 92 debut, which if you have never checked out, you really, really should. here is both toots’ and izzy’s versions.

I’d go with Armed Forces as a starter, then maybe Trust. All the early stuff is great.
And indeed, Lindsay has a world-class rack.
I’d go with Get Happy.
My favoite is “Armed Forces.” Most people prefer “This Year’s Model.” But if I were starting from scratch, I would buy the first four masterpieces in order of release: 1. My Aim Is True, 2. This Year’s Model, 3. Armed Forces, and 4. Get Happy. Tons of amazing music there.
Then, you can move on to Trust, Almost Blue (the unfairly derided country album which is actually really good), Imperial Bedroom (maybe the most critically acclaimed), and King Of America.
Those eight should do the job.
I’d start with This Year’s Model.
Wow, I never knew Izzy did “Pressure Drop.” I knew the original and the cover by The Clash (which was recently used in some car commercial; Joe might be dead but he’s probably pissed).
I too would recommend This Year’s Model as a starting point. Get Happy and King of America are my other favorites.
I’m with the captain, live shows from this era smash any of his studio output. To tiny bits.
That said, Blood and Chocolate is the one Elvis album that made my heart skip a beat when I first heard it. It’s still one of my favorite albums.
thanks all for the guidance. me thinks i am going to go get my aim is true and next years model and see where that takes me… again, thanks mucho! btw, paul, great site.
