hey underpants!

i make no excuses to the fact that my favorite movie of all time is the blues brothers and oddly has been since i was about 12. thats either a testament to the greatness and timelessness of the movie or the fact that i have not matured much since 12. probably a combination of both. regardless of which is true there is no denying that belushi and aykroyd made one hell of a team musically and of course comedically. then, of course, aykroyd had to go and fuck it up, royally.
here are the boys and their band opening up for the dead at winterland on new years eve in 78.

When I see the Blues Brothers I can’t help but laugh my ass off at the scene when Jake and Elwood go to see the Penguin. I must have seen that move 200 times by now and I still lose it every time. I met John Landis at a party a few years ago and I got to tell him so. He was very nice and couldn’t wait to get away from me.
maybe not my fave movie ever, but top 5 for sure. i, too, have loved that movie since i was about 12 or 13. i still laugh my ass off whenever i watch the movie.
landis! damn him to hell too! what has he done lately? anything worth noting? matt, i tend to go back and forth between blues brothers, oddly enough fletch and empire strikes back as my favorite movies. yeah my tastes in movies is pretty great :/

Ok, gregor, I’m an idiot. I replied to the wrong post. It’s this Blues Brothers that I can’t get 3,4 & 9 to download. Sorry, man.
