hey my brother, can I borrow a copy of your “Hey Soul Classics”?
The Archive from Sean Dunne on Vimeo.
Paul Mawhinney is thought to have the biggest record collection in the world, more than 1 million wax slabs, and plus that in 45s, worth more than $50m. He was forced to close his Pittsburgh vinyl tabernacle, Record-Rama in February, and unable to find a home for his complete collection (check out the vid above), he’s liquidating his stock. Sale ends Thursday, yo. And no, not on eBay. Paul is really stickin it to us — in-store only.
“Vinyl is like a cockroach” article from May 2008.
For the purists, the ones who can read I mean, check out my friend Brett’s book, “Vinyl Junkies.”
I’m not friends with Michael Ochs, but this is a sweet little coffee table book.

thoroughly depressing.not my situation, but his. 87 percent of his collection is not on cd. thats amazing. i find it truly hard to believe, and again depressing, that he cant find a buyer. sad state of affairs. fuck, i think if trump can bail out that piece of shit ed mcmahon, he could definitely fork over some cash for a national treasure.
great video…..you’re right, this story is such a shame…
