You might already be aware of this, but the “Thunder Road” link isn’t working…

    Thanks for posting these,
    David M.

  2. gorjus says:

Thanks for posting, Dead Cap’n! And–I’m getting garbled song titles. For instance, “Fire” plays “Adam Raised a Cain,” which in turn plays “Promised Land.” Is it just me?

  3. gregor says:

sorry about that gang. i have no idea what the hell is going on. let me investigate..

  4. gregor says:

ok, thunder road is fixed.. still working on the other mysteries..

  5. Dan says:

well, some of the titles are correct!?! very confusing. But it sounds great. Thanx so much!!

  6. Dan says:

Can you at least confirm that the setlist is correct? If I know the order of songs, I can rename and renumber the files myself.

    Thanks.

  7. whsonic says:

“For You” and “Darkness…” are also mixed up

  8. gregor says:

yeah the shits all messed up. i am trying to sort through it. probably should be fixed by tomorrow.

  9. Joel Olessen says:

The set list you posted is correct, it’s just that the song names have the wrong song files attached. http://www.brucebase.org.uk/gig1978.htm#18

When I download all songs and import into iTunes, this is the sequence of songs I get:
    For you
    darkness…
    prove it…
    racing
    thunder
    jungleland
    paradise
    fire
    adam
    promised land
    quarter three
    she’s the one
    mona
    backstreets
    rosalita
    the promise
    born to run
    tenth avenue freeze out
    growin up’

Now I’m gonna re-number these so they match the actual set list.

  10. gregor says:

thanks joel… sorry for any confusion. for i am only one man and i try to do the best i can, sometimes.. again, thanks..

  11. mad says:

i have quickly skimmed through the set. thanks btw for posting them they are jumbled up a lot but it is easy to recognise each track and re-edit their song title. the hard bit is re-ordering them.

tracks 1 and 2 need to swap.

then tracks 3 through to 11 need to be amended to the name of the track after

e.g. track 3 needs to be renamed Prove It All Night and track 4 renamed Racing In The Street.

    then tracks 12, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 have correct track names.

track 13 is Mona and track 19 is Growin Up.

then simply re-order them using the following from info from brucebase.

BADLANDS / NIGHT / SPIRIT IN THE NIGHT / DARKNESS ON THE EDGE OF TOWN (4.24)/ FOR YOU (5.01)/ THE PROMISED LAND (4.55)/ PROVE IT ALL NIGHT (7.28)/ RACING IN THE STREET (7.48)/ THUNDER ROAD (5.18)/ JUNGLELAND (9.23)/ PARADISE BY THE C (3.13)/ FIRE (2.33)/ ADAM RAISED A CAIN (5.26)/ MONA – SHE’S THE ONE (11.36)/ GROWIN’ UP (8.53)/ BACKSTREETS (10.00)/ ROSALITA (fades in)(9.26)/ THE PROMISE (5.59)/ BORN TO RUN (4.27)/ 10TH AVENUE FREEZE OUT (4.16)/ QUARTER TO THREE (9.56)

Soundboard source – Incomplete tape. Great versions of Adam Raised a Cain and Quarter To Three. Audience Tape exists which includes the first three songs in good quality. Released on CD “Kansas City Carboy” (BTS1) – soundboard only

    hope this helps, mad

  12. gregor says:

thanks, mad. when i initially listened to them i didnt follow the track listing. i just listened to make sure the stuff sounded ok. so, there in lies my problem. again, thansk mad..

  13. gregor says:

ok, part one should be fixed… hopefully…

  14. mad says:

with thanks in advance ive put a file on megaupload containing the 19 mp3 files.
