heavyfeathers

i dont know much about the ladies of heavy feather, other than they used to be known as jackpot city, they hail from athens, ga and they released a self titled record earlier this year. actually, the more i read (yay reading!) about the ladies of heavy feather, the more i am impressed with the company they keep. long list short, they’ve worked with michael stipe, mike mills, dave barbe, john neff of dbt, widespread’s bassist dave schools and ben mize formerly of the counting crowes, amongst others. now granted, not all of these folks worked on this record, but if they were able to convince these folks to work with em in the past, thats saying something. check em out, pretty cool stuff.

would you
