glossary and austin lucas live in baton rouge, 11.9.11

by gregor on November 7, 2011

hey, im back! well sort of… i have been a week without the internets, and boy let me tell you how thats gone. i have felt like a heroin addict in their third day without the junk. i am getting internet installed tomorrow, or at least thats what they claim!

any who, i couldnt be more excited about wednesday night’s show here in baton rouge at the hartley vey theatre. anyone ever been there? cant really find any info on it, although its about 6 blocks away from my house. i couldnt be more excited about this pairing cause both of these folks have records in my premature top 10 of 2011 which you can see over there to the right. so if youre in baton rouge, or shit even new orleans come on down i am fairly confident this is gonna be pretty fucking awesome.

In case you haven’t found out already, the Hartley Vey theatre is located in the Manship Theater, which is located in the Shaw Center downtown between 3rd st & lafayette st. Calling it a theater is a little bit of a stretch…it’s really just a room…I saw Jason Isbell there earlier this year.

No, I can’t make it tonight unfortunately…too much to do at work tomorrow to stay out late tonight. Welcome to Baton Rouge…I hope you like it. We have lots of good food and lots of live music. If you go tonight I recommend stopping by Schlitz & Giggles (3rd & Convention) and getting a slice of pizza.
