Sorry, I can’t see the video, as it’s been deleted. I’m not sure what the Coltrane reference implies; I assume it is for “The Giant.” Really, I love VM, but to compare this to Coltrane (is this, indeed, was what was said or intended) is ludicrous. Two totally different factions of music. I mean, really, the closest CM came to Jazz was “Moondance” which was a weak West Coast song (quite catchy, tho’). The stuff ‘Trane was doing was light years ahead of this.

Greg, I love you! Thank you! I have been searching frantically tonight for a download of You’re My Woman. I am getting married in September and our first dance will either be Tupelo Honey or You’re My Woman. For many years, I have wanted Crazy Love as my wedding song, as it was my first introduction to the fabulous Van Morrison. Then, I found Tupelo Honey, among many others, and fell more in love. Tonight, I saw the lyrics to You’re My Woman, and had to hear it. I will be buying the cd tomorrow, but was dying to hear the whole song tonight, so Thank You!!!!

I saw the phantom family halo @ casbah on the 12th with acid mothers guru guru,,,they melted my fucking brain,,,drummer is amazing,,,different from the recordin gs but I think it’s two different spectrums to enjoy about them….

UPDATE: uh, I saw Phantom Family Halo
again at the house show. It was awesome.
So much better than when they opened for
Slint.. their cd just doesn’t sound like the live
performance which is sad. Pretty good live!
