children are all foreigners
sup crackas? oh the same shit. one thing i cant stand is people bouncing checks made out to yours truly. i understand shit happens, trust me i understand more than most and i try to be sympathetic, but when it starts to be habitual then its a problem. i have a house that i rent out, i dont charge enough to cover the mortgage, and my new renter has bounced the first two checks made out me. now, this time it has caused me to go severely into the red. now, she apparently doesnt have the $950 i charge how the hell is she supposed to pay 30 bucks per overdraft charge, and their were ten of em? i dont really know what to do. start eviction proceedings, just in case? i got to start being a dick, which is actually hard for me to do, but its gotta be done. anyone have any experience in these situations?
enough about my shit part two, and lets talk about the canadian dudes that make up the city streets. if your lookin for no bullshit rock n roll, these dudes bring it in spades. they’re not your ordinary canadian based sounding bunch of lads. whats ordinary i dont know? they sound straight outta california, only dashed with an undeniable english leaning, and not edmonton. melding a bit of the clash, elvis costello and fellow canadians constantines into one pretty righteous racket. i expect great things from these dudes, i hope they continue to deliver.
they have a new, free downloadable ep on their site. check it out.. the lead track is called “chuck d taught me how to fight the power” so you know they have to be pretty right on in my book.

[...] Neil Young & Crazy Horse – Live @ The Palladium (20/11/1976) [...]
Gregor I’ve done property management off and on over the years. it is a job my friend and a business, you gotta treat it as one. Don’t love your tenants and don’t screw your tenants. If you don’t ensure a steady revenue stream from your investment , it will go away. Don’t be a dick but you gotta be stiff.
Cant stand bad checks but had to evict a friend of 20 years since high school and have been working so much in nashville, they’re in atlanta got there today and still shit in the condo had to be a dick and sold alot of her stuff today to recoop(sp) some cash buit its nowhere close but you can bet Ill be a dick from here on out> The last thing Ill say before they get the keys “Don’t make me have to be a dick, cause I will”
Dear Greg,
Thanks so much for posting all the Neil Young music. I stumbled upon your site and could not believe my ears. I haven’t heard “Bite the Bullet” in decades. Looks like there is much other worthwhile music on your site, too. I regret to say that I’m an really, really old fogey and haven’t heard of many of the bands. But because of your discerning taste, I will give them a listen. Thanks again for your efforts. They are much appreciated.
Best,
JL in New York
