i woke up this morning with centro-matic’s “to unleashes the horses now” in my head, which is infinitely more awesome than what i usually wake up humming. two days ago, or was it yesterday, i woke up with huey lewis and the news’ “if this is it” stuck in my head. i took the former as a sign to attempt to listen to their entire catalogue today, and i am in the process of doing so. dont know if ill get through everything, but ill make a strong effort. if for some godly unknown reason you have never bothered listening to em, and shame on you for not doing so. here’s your chance at redemption, a few songs off their releases, one off will’s release vultures await, and a show from 8.24.07 at the mercury lounge in nashville opening up for jason isbell. who, btw, sits in with the centro-matic for the entire set. much love to the original taper….

you can purhase/download their stuff here via amazon
