when i was in junior high, i had a babysitter, lets call her deana, and actually thats her name – and, two times, she may even see this. deana loved duran duran, and i mean loved em. i guess what teen girl didnt at the time? when she watched me and my brother she would quiz, extensively, on the members of duran duran. first it started with their names, and once we/i got those down, it moved on to their likes and dislikes according to tiger beat or whatever teen mag was around back then. i, of course, always pretended to hate em, just cause thats what prepubescent boys do. we hate stuff, and as it turns out thats what 36 year old men do as well. ive always kinda liked duran duran. i mean really how could you not? the songs were solid, the videos were pretty sexy, and well there was simon le bon.

i believe this was taken from a dvd of a show taped back in 84. its a pretty solid listen, i must contend.

hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. mine has been just fine thanks for asking. i posted this back in january but figured it may be a great soundtrack for those of you chillin on the couch and not wanting to do much. besides being an awesome soundtrack to such activities, its essential listening, in my very humble opinion. all kinds of love to the original compiler, seasob….

morning! pro-tip for you all. if you ever come to new orleans, i highly recommend searching out coops, which isnt really to hard to find cause its on decatur which is one of the main thoroughfares and is right by the french market. i will say this the food is awesome, i had the rabbit and sausage jumbalaya and again it was awesome, but unless you have a cast iron stomach i am not sure i can recommend. although, in my advancing years my stomach can handle as much as a 6 month old baby. so, i guess dont use me as a barometer.
