last night the wife and i watched singles for the first time since about 1993. i thought that since it was such a “moment in time” type of flick that it would not have aged very well, but i’ll be damned if it has not held up really well. maybe its just cause that era was such a pivotal time in my life that its hard for me to be truly subjective, but the subject matter is pretty universal and timeless. what the hell has happened to campbell scott though? has he done anything worth mentioning lately?

this is a nice sounding cat power and memphis rhythm band performance from dallas on 9.16.06. as far as i can hear it sounds like mrs marshall was in good spirits throughout the evening.
