oh what a day! first new strand of oaks song, now a new cat power song/record!!!! its off chan’s forthcoming matador release entitled sun, which is due out soon…. song is great, and its an immediately a best of 2012 contender just cause. its her first record in over 6 years – damn the greatest has been suiting me well for a lot of freaking years. well, and the rest of her back catalogue.

    The only time I’ve seen her was on her Jukebox tour in 2008 – my lawd does that woman have a presence about her. You’re right Greg – this hits the spot almost immediately.
