bruce springsteen's the ties that bind bootleg

top of the morning! as i briefly and cryptically stated yesterday, captains dead turned 5 yesterday. now my first post wasnt until the 5th i believe, but i registered the domain on the third. so, ill just go when i registered the domain. i had no illusions of grandeur when i started this that it would grow to its current size or that anyone outside of a few people, my wife not included, would give a shit. yet, here i am and some 4 million visitors later, which aint bad for a one man show, i am slightly humbled and grateful to you all for visiting. now, i understand that you all dont show up for my nonsensical ramblings and half hearted attempts at reviews and such, you show up for the music, but still ya show up day in and day out and i appreciate that. also, thanks to all who have supported me and this joint, monetarily speaking or even with a nice email, throughout the years, you have no idea how much i appreciate it. again, thanks… gvd

what we have here are some studio outtakes/demos to springsteen’s the river. if you wanna read more about it, hit up this link.

Glad I got to listen to this–thanks–but wow am I glad this album got scrapped and The River came out instead. Gonna have to play the River version of Stolen Car to erase the memory of this version.
