i was a pretty big fan of the first two british sea power records, the decline of british sea power and open season. havent listened to either of their last two records for one reason or another, probably mostly due in part to sheer laziness, or i just forgot about em. they are releasing a soundtrack to the 1934 movie, man of aran. they were asked, by whom i dont know, to record an updated soundtrack for the 09 release of the dvd. here’s a bit, via wiki, about the 1934 documentary and below is a track off the newly recorded soundtrack. the dvd/cd is out on may 18th.
