i dont know about you all, but man have i really felt lazy this week. that laziness has manifested itself into a deep seeded annoyance and aversion of this place. it happens every few months when i get sick of everything i am into. anyone else ever get that way? like you just want to blow everything you feel comfortable doing and start over. i kinda feel the same way i did almost 5 years ago when we left chicago for georgia. this too shall pass, maybe.

here is the dylan late show from the supper club on 11.17.93. track 7 which is supposed to be “i want you” was removed, not by me, because it was commercially released.

1. ragged and dirty

2. lay lady lay

3. tight connection to my heart

4. weeping willow

5. delia

6. jim jones

8. ring them bells

9. jack-a-roe

10. forever young

11. i shall be released

Yesser, I get that way often. Made me stop updating my music blog in Jan…now I needs to start again lest I loose my remaining marbles. It makes you do funny things…move hundreds of miles, get mad at everyone, throw away boxes of cd’s (only to the basement though…). Watching 12 hours of straight kung-fu with a twelve pack is usually a better remedy than moving to a new state for me, but to each his own. peace shithead. oh, thanks for the 93 pave last week.

Life ain’t nothin’ but a blendin’ of all the ups and downs. New tunes and some peace and quite usually help me. Beer and dude’s night out is the next option.

What album was that version of “I Want You” released on?

  4. gregor says:

yeah, funny things indeed. i feel like buying a farm somewhere and becoming a digital nomad or pick up some random trade like photographer or male gigolo. blue, yeah i think i just need some peace and quiet which will be coming shortly as the wife and children are leaving for chicago about a week a head of me in a few weeks. so, it will be nice to just chill and play some video games and crank the stereo.

@target mkt, i have no idea. i got this from dime and that’s what was stated in the txt file. if you find out let me know.

  5. Totz the Plaid says:

Hmm… officially released? Not as far as I can tell. Unless it’s on some foreign-market obscurity, that is. Thanks for the rest of the bootleg however, gregor.

I have felt that way myself from time to time. Just tis past week I took off from work, turned the ringer off on the phone and melted away under the headphones for most of the week. It was great but would have been better if i had found these two shows first.

Fantastic quality. I have been looking for these in this condition for some time. Thank you so for posting. I may have to take anothe week off.

I found yr page here after listening to a (really good) recording of the Supper Club gigs here:
    http://soundcloud.com/bob-dylan-supperclub-1/bob-dylan-complete-supper-club

I was curious about yours since, as you can see, the one I heard describes itself as “complete”, yet your list contains a couple of tracks not on the other one (including one – Weeping Willow – that I don’t know at all).
But sadly your links seem to be dead. Any way you could revive them?
    Cheers,
    Tim
