black dub's "i believe in you" – feat daniel lanois and trixie whitley

well, shit this is an awesome late afternoon present. black dub is daniel lanois’ new band which features lanois on guitar, new orleans drum guru brian blade, fame lousiana bass player daryl johnson, and trixie whitley the 22 year old daughter of chris whitley. the trixie and daniel pairing is a surprise, although it really shouldnt, cause daniel and chris, from what i know, were pretty close and daniel has played with trixie a few times over the years. the record is coming out on 11.2 on jive records and just judging by this track, definitely could be a top ten contender. see tour dates below…
