black dub on kimmel, plus free live track

Posted by doubter on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011

i really need to keep up with who’s appearing on what late night talk show, cause i totally missed black dub on kimmel, which i am assuming was recently. actually, even if i knew who was performing on what show, i would totally miss it cause i cant stay up that late. anyway, there they are performing “truly” on kimmel and down there is a live version of “the last time.” if you havent checked out black dub’s debut, it was number 6 on my best of 2010 list and in case you didnt know its made up of daniel lanois and trixie whitley (chris’ daughter).

the last time (live)

Their 9 minute “Ring the Alarm” video on Youtube is a gem

Just wanted to say thank you for sharing all of the great live music that you do, especially all of the Superchunk (happen to have any shows of theirs that you’ve never posted?) and that amazing Paul Westerberg KFOG show.

Also, FYI, this is a great site that’ll help you keep up with who’s appearing on talk shows. They update it almost every day.
