being a vampire in the 20th century is a nightmare
hola, amigos. holy f’in a! cant believe i missed that the new rock of love was coming on! actually i think yesterday was the first episode. dudes/dudettes please check out the chicks in this years cast. i swear 90 percent of them look mildly/strongly to be products of incest.
two of my most anticipated records of 08 have leaked, malkmus’ real emotional trash and mould’s district line. real emotional trash is pretty bad ass, but unless you have seen malkmus as of late probably not what you would expect. its pretty jammy, which is to say its a bit reminiscent of wowee zowee, which is just fine by me. district line, i am still working on. there are like 6 or 7 songs that are great right off the bat, the 3 or 4 are the ones i am going to have to spend some time with. its definitely not a disappointment, just still getting used to the newer bob.
i got a bunch of new stuff to talk about later, but until then here is darkside of the moon performed in its entirety on 3.15.73 in philadelphia at the spectrum. its an awesome soundboard that is commonly referred to as dark soundboard of philadelphia.
1. speak to me
2. breathe
3. on the run
4. time
6. money
7. us and them
9. brain damage
10. eclipse

This is a great show, but the date is wrong. It’s actually Nov. 16, 1974 at the Empire Pool in Wembley, England. This version is a recording of a NY radio re-broadcast of the original BBC airing. I don’t believe a recording exists of the Spectrum show in 1973. By the way, if you get a chance, check out the 1972 tour, when they played DSotM in an earlier version called “Eclipsed.”
Nice site, and thanks for the music.
i dont know bobzcat all the info i have points to the spectrum. take a look at this. from what i was told this recording is super rare.
My info comes from the Pink Floyd Concert Database, which is a pretty definitive source in the Floyd trading community. (http://www.pf-db.com/index.php?concert_id=63&bootleg_id=1788) It’s anyone’s guess why a wrong date would be given: honest mistake, or attempt to capitalize on a date with no known recording.
Gregor,
Howdy chief. Nice post. The only full performance of DSOTM I’ve owned is on “Pulse” and it’s without Roger Waters, so this is a real treat. Anyway, I noticed your cover image listed “special thanks to WNEW radio.” I google searched WNEW and it is indeed a New York station. I also found this info–
